Overview
Case 1: “No diagnostic reports” or “No reports”
- Wait for the next launch: after a crash or freeze the system usually hands the report to Primuse only when you open the app again, sometimes later. Reopen the app and check again after a while.
- Check the sharing setting (Apple system behaviour, not verified in the Primuse source): on iPhone or iPad, the system provides these reports to apps only when Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers is on.
- Already sent or cleared? Reports are removed from the device after a successful upload, and “Clear all reports” deletes them all.
- Too old? Reports on the device are kept for about 7 days.
- Apple TV: there are no system crash reports, which is normal. Upload the log and describe what happened.
Case 2: the log doesn't cover the problem
- Turn on “Record Detailed Logs” and reproduce the problem. Without it only basic information is recorded.
- Send soon after reproducing: logs roll over, so older entries may be gone, and uploads or shares include only the most recent part.
- Don't tap “Clear Logs” after reproducing.
- Write the approximate time of the problem in your message so the author can find it in the log.
Case 3: the app won't open, so you can't reach the diagnostics screen
- If “The last launch did not finish” appears on the next launch, tap “Copy Diagnostics”. On iPhone and iPad the same information is also saved in the Files app → Primuse → Diagnostics folder, and you can share that file directly.
- On a Mac you will see “Primuse didn't finish launching last time”; click “Copy Details”.
Case 4: Apple Watch
Apple Watch has no log or diagnostics screen. On the paired iPhone open “Diagnostic Reports”, turn on “Record Detailed Logs”, reproduce the problem on the watch, then send from the iPhone. The iPhone log only covers the phone side (such as the connection to and syncing with the watch), so describe what happened on the watch in your message.

Why this happens
Crash and hang reports come from the system and usually appear only after the app is opened again, sometimes later; Apple TV has no such reports at all; reports and logs on the device are cleared after about 7 days; they are also deleted after a successful upload or when you clear them; without Diagnostic Mode the log has less detail.
