功能说明
Applies to
- Viozi 1.0 on iPhone / iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
- Supported: extracted Blu-ray disc folders that contain a BDMV directory. Disc images (ISO) can't be played directly yet.
- Viozi does not read physical disc drives.
Before you start
- Keep the whole disc folder intact in your source (NAS, media server or this device). Don't copy only the .m2ts files.
- If you only have an ISO, extract the disc into a folder first.
Where to find it
- In the library, open the movie → "Disc Contents" on its detail page.
- While playing: "Disc" in the player.
- Region: Settings → Playback group → Playback Settings → "Blu-ray Region" (on Mac: Playback in the Settings window; on Apple TV: Settings).
Steps
- After a scan, the disc appears in your library as one movie. Playing it directly plays the main feature (the longest feature playlist).
- Under "Disc Contents" choose the main feature, "Play All" or a single episode, another version, or an extra.
- To start from the disc's own menu, as on a Blu-ray player, tap "Play with the Disc Menu". Opening warnings and studio logos can be skipped with "Skip".
- While playing, use "Top Menu" and "Pop-up Menu", or change titles under "Disc" in the player.
What you should see
- Whatever you pick in the menu plays, and audio and subtitle tracks follow the menu's choices.
- Menu backgrounds and warnings don't count toward watch progress.
Options
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Blu-ray Region | Disc menus check the region to decide whether, and which version, to play. Automatic follows your system region |
| Disc menu language | Follows your system language by default |
Limits
- If a disc's menu is a Java program (BD-J), Viozi doesn't run it and shows "This disc’s menu is a Java program (BD-J), which Viozi doesn’t run; every title on the disc is listed above." Pick a title from the list instead.
- If a menu can't continue, the main feature plays.
- If a disc has only the main feature and no menu Viozi can emulate, "Disc Contents" is not shown.
- How Dolby Vision, HDR and Atmos come out depends on your device and the whole playback chain. See Playback engine, formats, and HDR / Dolby Vision / Atmos.
Troubleshooting
- "This file has no picture to play — it’s probably a menu or extra clip from a disc.": you opened a single clip from inside the disc. Play the movie from its detail page instead.
- The disc doesn't appear in the library, or shows up as many loose files: make sure the folder structure is complete (the BDMV directory and its subfolders), then rescan. See Scan and refresh your library and fix video metadata.
- An ISO won't play: not supported yet. Extract it into a folder first.
- Picture, sound or stuttering problems: see Video won't play, stutters, goes black or shows wrong colors.
