功能说明
Applies to
- Viozi 1.0. On iPhone / iPad and Mac you can add, import, subscribe to and manage channels.
- Apple TV has a Live Channels row on its home screen for playback. Managing channels on Apple TV is not covered here.
- Viozi only plays channel addresses you provide; it does not include any channels.
Before you start
- Have a channel's stream address ready, or a channel list (a file or a web address in .m3u, .m3u8, .pls or .txt format).
- For a program guide you need an XMLTV address (.xml or .xml.gz). A
url-tvg/x-tvg-urlin the list's header is picked up automatically.
Where to find it
- iPhone: the Live TV row on Home, or Library → Live TV.
- iPad / Mac: sidebar → Live TV.
- You can also choose "IPTV Live (M3U Subscription)" in the list of source types. It opens the same subscription panel as the Live TV page.
Steps
- Open Live TV. With no channels yet you'll see "Add Live Channels" and three buttons.
- Pick a way to add (once you have channels, these are in the Add Channel menu at the top right):
- "Add Channel": enter one channel's name and address.
- "Import Channel List": choose an m3u / pls file or paste a list address, then tick the channels to add.
- "List Subscriptions": subscribe to a list address; when the list changes, Viozi keeps its channels in sync.
- Back in Live TV, tap a channel card to play it.
- (Optional) Top-right menu → "Program Guide". Under "Guide Addresses" enter one XMLTV address per line, then tap "Update Now".
What you should see
- Channels appear as 16:9 cards. Filter by the list's groups ("All Channels" or a group), or use "Search Channels".
- With a guide set up, each card shows the current programme and its time slot (for example "19:00–19:30"), and playing channels carry a "LIVE" badge. The Program Guide page shows "Channels Matched" and "Last Updated".
Options
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Guide Addresses | One XMLTV address per line. Channels are matched by the list's tvg-id, otherwise by name |
| From Your Playlists | Guide addresses found in the headers of lists you imported |
| Update Now | Downloads the guide again right away. Otherwise it updates every 12 hours |
| Channel Info | Long-press a card (right-click on Mac) to view or edit its name and address |
| Delete Channel | A deleted channel that came from a subscription won't come back when the subscription refreshes |
Limits
- Whether a channel plays depends on its stream format, whether the address still works, and your network. Viozi can't fix a dead channel.
- Subscribed lists have a channel limit. A larger list can only be imported once and won't update automatically.
- Name matching ignores suffixes such as "HD", so a few channels may not match or may match the wrong guide entry. Adding tvg-id to the list fixes this.
- On Apple TV, a list address that uses plain HTTP is only fetched after you allow it.
Troubleshooting
- A channel won't open or keeps loading: check that the address plays in another player, and whether it needs a VPN or a particular network. If it still fails, see Video won't play, stutters, goes black or shows wrong colors.
- The guide says "The guide isn't a readable XMLTV file.": make sure the address points to an XMLTV .xml or .xml.gz file, not a web page.
- The guide server returned an error: the address is dead or the server refused the request. Try another guide address.
- Very few channels matched: the list is missing tvg-id, or the names differ too much.
- Apple TV says the channel's playlist link uses plain HTTP: play the channel again and allow it, or use the direct stream address or an https link.
