功能說明
Applies to
Viozi 1.0 on iPhone / iPad. On Mac, choose Local Files / iCloud Drive when adding a source.
Where to find it
Settings → Media Sources → + (Add Source) → Local → Local Files.
Four options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Reference Files | Play selected videos from their original location |
| Reference a Folder | Play from its original location, including subfolders |
| Copy Files | Store an app-managed copy for offline playback |
| Copy a Folder | Same, for a whole folder |
Files and folders stay in their original location by default. Choose Copy to Viozi for an app-managed offline copy.
Steps
- Choose an option and pick videos or a folder in Files.
- While importing you'll see Importing Videos with progress (processed / imported / skipped / failed). You can cancel; completed batches are kept safely.
- When finished you'll see "Imported N video(s), skipped M item(s). Scanning imported files now."
Expected result
Imported videos appear in Library. Copies can be played offline.
Common failure reasons
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| Not enough device storage | Free up space, or use Reference instead |
| No read permission / File not found | Make sure the file is still in its original location and pick it again |
| Unsupported format | The file is not a recognized video |
| Cannot Read the Original Video / Cloud Drive Returned No Video | See "Files from a cloud drive" below |
Files from a cloud drive
When you pick a cloud drive file in the Files app, the drive may hand over a placeholder or an error instead of the video. To fix it:
- In the cloud drive's app, save the file to a local On My iPhone folder in Files, then import from that folder.
- Or add the cloud drive as a source in Viozi instead; see Connect a cloud drive.
Removing
When you remove a Copy to Viozi source, you're asked whether to delete the copied files to free up space. The original files are not affected; deleted copies can't be recovered.
