功能說明
Where Primuse gets song information
- Tags in the audio file (title, artist, album, artwork, embedded lyrics).
- Artwork images and lyrics files in the same folder.
- Information from media servers (Jellyfin, Emby, Plex, Navidrome and others).
- Online results from the scraper sources you enable.
Enable scraper sources
Open Settings › Metadata & Scraping (Fill in covers, lyrics, album and artist info for songs in your library. Choose your providers; failed fetches fall back automatically.).
- Scraper Sources: Drag to reorder. Sources are tried from top to bottom until a match is found. For lyrics that aren’t word-synced, up to two more sources are checked for a finer version.
- Built-in sources include iTunes (Apple's iTunes Search API — metadata and high-resolution covers), MusicBrainz (Open music database, metadata and covers), LRCLIB (Open synced lyrics database), AMLL TTML DB (Community word-synced lyrics, often with translations) and more.
- By default only AMLL TTML DB, used for lyrics, is on. With no metadata scraper source enabled, you see "No Scraper Source Enabled"; tap Open Settings to turn one on.
| Option | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Only Fill Missing Fields | Only fills empty fields and doesn't overwrite existing information |
| Fetch Lyrics Online When Missing | When neither local files nor sources such as cloud drives have lyrics, ask the enabled lyrics sources once, in order. |
| Lyrics API Server | Requests lyrics, in order, from lyrics APIs you configure |
| Cookie Configuration | Optional: provide a cookie to improve access. Leave empty for anonymous access. |
Fill in details in bulk
In Metadata & Scraping:
- Scrape Missing Metadata: Fill in missing titles, artists, albums, covers, and lyrics for songs already in your library.
- Re-scrape Library: queries the whole library again.
Automatic results may be inaccurate. If they do not match, use Manual Search and compare track durations.
Scrape one song by hand
Open scraping from a song's action menu and choose What to Scrape: Metadata (title, artist, album), Cover Art, Lyrics. If the automatic result is wrong, use Manual Search, search with other keywords and pick a candidate by comparing durations. With no candidates: Try another term in the search box, or check that scraper sources are enabled in Settings.
Import a custom scraper source
Import Scraper Source: Paste scraper JSON or an HTTPS configuration URL. The format is detected automatically. Before importing, Primuse shows "Review Before Import", listing network domains, request headers, cookies, keys and so on. Preview only — not imported yet. Tap "Confirm Import" to add it; Cancel discards it. Import a custom scraper source via JSON config or URL. You are responsible for ensuring imported sources comply with applicable terms and copyright laws.
Change artwork
On an album or song, choose Change Artwork, then Choose from Photos, Choose from Songs, Choose from the Album Folder or Upload an Image. To go back to automatic artwork, choose Restore Automatic Artwork.
Smart tag tidying
Metadata & Scraping › Tidy Song, Artist and Album Names, then tap Check. Finds garbled text, site names, placeholder values, titles that only repeat the artist, stray "(1)" copy numbers and more; with AI it can also fix non-standard spellings such as capitalisation and full-width letters. Everything is listed for you to confirm first; only what you tick is written, and it can be undone.
- The on-device check doesn't need a network connection.
- Ask the AI Service Too requires AI to be turned on in Intelligence with permission to send content. When on, the titles, artists, albums and file names of some songs are sent to the AI service. The AI only makes suggestions; you confirm each change before it's written.
Limitations
- Read-only sources (such as some media servers) can't write back to the original files; changes are saved only in Primuse.
- Scraper results come from third-party databases and may be inaccurate or missing.
